Dueling Rules

Duels for RP must be appropriately recorded to clearly grant awards. Players must request a duel in the Dueling Request thread. Duels are based of singles (Best of 1) or matches (Best of 3).

BO1: Players duel once, no siding is possible. Winners are rewarded 3 BP and losers are given 1 BP.

BO3: Players have 2 to 3 duels, winner 2 games wins the match. Siding is allowed. Winners are granted 5 BP and loser are granted 3 BP.

Once a duel was completed, the winner must post the results of the duel along with a picture to approve credit in the Dueling Results thread.

A new rule has been added, this applies to duels and duel request.

Duels will now be set apart so that newer players can have a chance to still duel and have fun without being overwhelmed by new cards they don't have access yet. In dueling request you will see a new request format using this:
Card Set: (Pre EB2/Pre URG/Post URG)

Pre EB2:
This is for the newer players that just started playing Artech. Older players can still play in this format as well.
- Cards used in this format are from Starter decks and EB1 only.
- No EB2 or beyond cards can be used.

Pre URG:
This is for intermediate level players.
- Cards used in this format are from EB2 and before.
- No URG or beyond cards can be used.

Post URG:
This is an all out, high level format.
- Any card that has been released can be used.
